ummmm...is that a friggin lobster tail in the first food picture?!?!?!?!

Okay, I'm a proud Marine Corps vet, and I support the troops in Iraq, yadda yadda yadda...

But you punk Marines today got it so much easier than back in the day, when I was doing my time in the field!!! hahahahahaha

Lobster...in a chow hall. sheesh We wouldn't have even known what to do with a lobster tail!!!

Take care of yourself bud. Keep your head and arms inside the bus while it's moving. And keep your ass down and unpunctured by flying metal thingies.

    Keep the pics coming!

I mostly lurch here on eqcleric, but it's good to hear from you Maelarr. My bro did his tour over there in camel country as a Marine, and he came back with a bunch of stories. I second Evanya's note "Keep your head and arms inside the bus while it's moving. And keep your ass down and unpunctured by flying metal thingies."

Maelarr, I do not post much, but I want to say Thanks for the pictures, and it is good to know you are safe. Keep us updated, please. You, along with all the troops over there, are always in our thoughts.

Hah! "REMF"! Haven't heard that one in years.

("Rear Echelon Yadda Yadda", for the civilians. A term of endearment used in jest (mostly) by the guys in the field, for the "Support" personnel back in the base camp.)
