I wonder if this is a cleric thing? Most of the clerics I know tend to be older players. I wonder if you find higher age demographics in clerics than in other classes. I think playing a cleric long term requires some patience and, shall we say, different definitions of excitement and fulfillment in a class.

Nobody had to tell me I wasn't playing a kid's game. My guild on Innoruuk is mostly comprised of older players, with nearly all of our officers being in their 30s and 40s. Most of the young kids in our guild are the children of other members. Some of our members are grandparents.

Just because my drivers' license says I'm MORE than old enough to buy beer (more than a decade and a half past old enough) doesn't mean I don't enjoy playing games.

Nothing wrong with playing video games at that age Mille. Nothing wrong with playing video games at any age actually. My hubby and I plan on playing video games until the day we no longer have hand-eye coordination. I heard a comedian once say that when he is an old man he is going to tell his grandkids about the video games from the good ole days; "when i was young there was this frog that you had to help get across the road" and "there were these two Italian guys that had to rescue a princess from this big ape". No doubt the grandkids will be like; "yeah, whatever you say grandpa".

    32 here.

    Interesting age distribution.

For a number of reasons, it wouldn't suprise me if Clerics were one of the older age distributions per class.

Ok, fess up, Clerics are really egomaniacs and don't do the job because it's fun, but because we think we're smarter than everyone else and can handle it... hehe.

The age theory sure seems to be valid in our guild. Most of the clerics seem to be around the 50 age bracket. By comparison I would think the tanks are in their early 20s.

I'm 17. Haven't played my cleric lately, not because he's boring, far from it. In fact, the reason is that I feel such pressure about not being able to leave, and if things go downhill, it's my fault. With my age, I have lots to do with school, etc, so it isn't always an option to stay in a group 3+ hours in some plane or other.

Well, Maelarr/Dugall (twins mind you) are 150ish...Siliddar Q'Elaruk'd'Tominta'Sorne (The origional red dragon decendent Drow sorceror.....Usstan elgen dosst Jall!!) is 520 (as of the most "recent" Ched Nesed storylines on the new drow fortress boards)...and the man behind them all(Lcpl Jason C Myers)...will be hitting his second decade in the first half of next year.
