I actually find the MoK quite substantial Heath Regen:
Let's say 3 HP per hit (with a weapon of 15 delay).
In 6 seconds (1 tick) you will swing, with haste, maybe , what , 30 times??? (Very rough guess) Let's say 20 just to be safe.
That means MoK is a group (well, melee in group) 60 HP Regen buff that does not take a buff slot for the duration of a fight with a ghetto cancel magic attached. Not bad for 75 mana.
Did I calculate something wrong here?

For those who were thinking that the MoK line only "covers up" a DS.....when a mob recasts their DS you still get the same message, "Your MoK has worn off" even tho technically what has happened is that it has been replaced ......so simply recast your MoK if there is time.

And as for the healing difference between the two MoK's ....well Im not certain about actual numbers.... but I can say that Karn has saved many a tanking Paladin who would have otherwise needed a 3rd or 4th CHeal to finish the fight ..... sometimes it has even made it unneccessary for me to cast CHeal on a few warriors. Just top 'em off after mob dies and hit em with a HoT when the next pull is incoming.
    Clerics need money too-
LoM = Despite popular belief does not mean low on mana, but instead is an indicator that the puller is not pulling fast enough and for them to bring 2 more mobs to camp.

The amount healed per hit with a MoK spell depends on the delay of the weapon. The spell heals less for faster hitting weapons.

The MoK line is a great line of spells (I have this in my default LDoN spellset), but don't forget to turn on the damageshield reports or you will not know wether a mob has a DS to strip or not.

I have a couple of questions.

What is the command to turn on damage shield reports?

Does casting Mark of Kings disspell snare or any other spells that my group might have cast on the mob prior to my cast of MoK?

Mark of Kings does not affect any other spells. It only affects damage shields. That's why it's so great.

Damageshield reports are set using the options menu and can be filtered to another window (to avoid spam as they tend to spam alot) using the context menu's for the chat windows. (rightclick on the textbar to bring op the filter menu's, rightclick on the titlebar of a windows and select create new chat window to create a new chat window for messages. Now using the filters you can assign various messages to each window)

Well, didn't see this update here... but MoK has apparently been upgrade to 20 per hit.
The change (according to lucy's) happened on 9-14 with the OoW patch.

Changed Slot 1 from "Decrease Damage Shield by 6" to "Decrease Damage Shield by 20"
MoR remains unchanged since the PvP resist changes went live.

I have been getting conflicting reports as to whether or not the two lines of spells stack or not. All I have to offer in the way of "evidence" is that if I cast one and then the other, I don't get a message saying that the one I cast first has worn off.

I have had, on my Paladin...

Druid DS, Mage DS & Ranger buff/DS... all at the same time.

P.S. I've found that MoKarn is a fun pulling tool. It's also great if you've got a bunch of Pets and/or fast melee in your group. Really helps keeping them topped off while you concentrate on the MT.

I suspect this is well-known already, but the Mark of the Blameless spell (level 69) is a combination of these two lines. It creates a reverse damage shield that also strips existing DSs.

MoB also stacks with MoR, giving clerics a 79-HP DS.

Technically it does not strip the DS, it only lowers the damage of a DS by 25. If the mobs DS is greater then 25, then it does not completely strip it.

I always used it when we debuffed Tunat (before engage).
