When you've rooted a mob and you don't have atone memmed? I dunno. I decided not to buy a WotF.

Because if you root, then clicky atone, you dont have to waste time memming atone and waiting for it to time out so you can use it. Still carry mine also.

Surprisingly, the sprinkler of the forgive comes in pretty handy! I use it on the 8th shawl war when the lil bastard dorf gets stuck, I use it when I get aggro but don't want to either kill the mob or zone it, so I root and click it. Meming the spell is a pain because it takes me a good minute to find the damned thing, and then it's a slow refresher. It's also a great item to use for PL. Melee a mob down to almost nothing, click it, and let the newbie take the kill.

It's certainly not something I use a lot, but definitely has it's place. They used to drop a lot in Chardok which is where I got mine. I doubt I'd purchase one unless they were cheap though. If you ever really need atone, you could always divine and mem it.

Well, it's worth 50pp even if you just use it to bonk orcs.

Clicky atone I use to help the enchannters out when doing quests where we have to travel with a escorte. Ie: Shawl Crawl, PoI Key Dragon, One of the Coldain Ring parts.

Good points ... sounds like it's most convenient for travelling and such.

I just picked up a Water Sprinkler on CT for 25pp. As another gnome cleric I was looking for some of the Clockwork Observers Armor, but didn't see any. There was Clockwork Shadowwalker armor which is cleric usable, but I assume that's different stuff. Of course my gear is probably so out-dated I've gotta go read some more posts about the type of gear I should be carrying.

I realize that this is an old thread, but Duracel's last post threw me into awe. From a pvp standpoint, I know that clerics are regarded often as the worst (not bad, not horrible, but THE worst) pvp class. SKs are usually pretty high on the list, I was wondering if you could relate how you killed a 61 shadowknight single handedly. Good job, now tell me how it's done

EDIT: crap, I'm a newbie poster, just realized that duracel's "last" post was actually several pages back. Maybe he'll see this anyway in the meantime I'll learn to reply to a specific string

Zoiel said in post #45 :
I've been trying to build up useful little items like this, but I can't for the life of me find an application for the clicky atone. When on earth do you use something with such a long cast time?
When I don't feel like running through 3 zones to get to a bank. I'm usually bound at an adventure camp. It's faster to click the faithstone then to run to whichever closest pok book. Then I just gate back. Makes for easy banking/peridot refreshing between adventures.

Agreed abou faithstones -- I discovered them from early in this thread, and they are GREAT! I especially like knowing I can bind in out-of-the-way spots like Sebilis and still zip right back to Felwithe.

    Just FYI...

I saw in an earlier thread about using this:

10 Dose Potion of Antiweight ~ Most Bazaars have these for sale for about 200 plat. This + Bat Wings, gives you lev for those times you *really* need to have it. It's a great item to carry around.

I use this a lot...and nice thing is you do not need bat wings now apparently. I realized one day that my stack of batwings was never used up...so i gave them to af riend to hold while i did an experimental sip..and voila' !!! Levitate...and no batwings needed One less thing to carry in my extremely packed inventory

After reading about it here I picked up a green ceramic band (think that is what it is called) and this is great for pulling =)

I've seen quite a bit here about potions for EB and Lev, but no so much about mana regen (besides the canni potion)

Having a Shammy hubby with GM alchemy skill has really got me going on potions big time. I love the mana potions that increase mana pool, mana regen, and HP to Mana. I carry at least 2 10 dose Greater Elixir of Concentration in my bag with my Anizoks Shrinker and Gnomish poofing device (plus batteries for both) and sow potions for my slow cleric butt. Prelates helm is a pretty good inventory click and has been mentioned here a few times. I really like my polished smooth metal torque from PoI for the improved healing IV as well. I used to keep more clicky-type items on me, but more often than not I'd forget about them LOL. I just keep it basic now.

Whee! Just roped a potter into combining a Faithstone of nature for me. I bought enough for 2 combines, and said he could keep anything about the first. He failed the first, so it was lucky for me I brought 2.

But now I have my very own Faithstone. Felwithe, here I come!
