Us dark elf clerics have a little easy quest in our home town for Regent Symbol of Innoruuk

I use that for soloing mobs that run, sometimes it can be hard to land it so i use my Journeyman's Walking Stick

Although non-DE clerics are kind of screwed on that plan, an alternative for snare is Sap Encrusted Branch , Although, Tunare is kind of annoying to kill having to clear the entire zone, i've been thinking about trying to get myself one of them

i've done the Ashengate zone in for fun, i've been wanting to go to CoD and try that ... could easily pull 10 or 15 of the guys up near carpin, might be pretty decent xp.

Is there any other way to snare a mob besides the branch if you are not a DE?

If you're a Inny worshipping Human you can do the DE Neck Quest, Otherwise there's this simple, repeatable quest in Stonebrunt mountains for an Ball of Burlap yarn(5 charge snare).

FYI for the drop from Tunare you dont need to clear the zone if you c an muster up enough DPS. I recently did it with 4monks and myself. Full burn on her kill her before you get overrun by adds.

I have found a couple decent spots in the past couple weeks. The forgotten halls and Droga. The mobs in forgotten halls dont assist each other, the kills are easy, and repops are fast.
