    Default Vergalid

Ok, seriously. I dont want any strats or spoilers :P I just want to rant. We had beaten this event awhile back seemingly with zero issues (In fact, we triggered him before we were prepared and still won), and went back to get more flags out of the way. I see that a few guilds have beaten vergalid just this month.

After what I've been battling as lead cleric for the last two days - I just gotta give your guilds props for that. What in the hell is sony thinking for this fight to be like this as an entry level TSS fight? My guild has been farming DK, and Demi for over a year now, and this event just kicked our asses. (At best we got him to like 37% or s. What is the gear expectation here?

But thats not what REALLY ticks me off. What gets me is... Seeing this garbage in the patch notes:

    - The Vergalid dragon raid should now function correctly. Roar of Insanity will now cast less often and has a shorter duration.
Yes, its got a shorter duration (thank god), but seriously. Cast less often?

Hes casting this nearly every 20 seconds (at least in the case of today), with a 6 second stun. This means in 1 minute 3000 mana, 3000 endurance, and 6000 hp are being drained, in addition to the stupid retarded amount of healing necessary for this fight.

We beat our heads over this enough, and aren't going to be doing this anymore, just going to do the sothgar backflag pieces, which is much slower, but much more doable.

So a big /rude Zajeer for designing such a terribly designed encounter.

I would have everyone /bug it every time they log in. Flood it so that someone else takes a look at it.

Our guild has beat vergild once since they redid him for the first time. and now we cant seem to get him past 30ish % so i know your pain. as one of the cleric leads it is very frustrating when you see a 25kish tank go down in seconds and you cant do anything about it. i know we have been talking about tricks to beating vergy and i truly think there is a trick or a place he needs to be inorder to avoid certain AEs.

one time we had nothing but stuns, another time nothing but exlie.

Its all about placement. Put him in the right spot and you can avoid the AE and AE ramp.

Placement and stuns. Vergalid is stunnable. Stun chain (no knockback ones) will allow you to avoid Ae's all together.
