    Default grrrr

    Ok, so here's my story.

I am in PoV, and go ld. I had to log anyways, and told my grp I was leaving in a min, so I just stayed out.

I go on Vacation for a week, come back, and all my stuff is gone. I think "ok, i'll just use my veteran AA summoning/rez thing" it doesn't work. I think "ok, i'll summon in guild hall" it doesn't work.
So I travel out to PoV. My corpse is no where in the zone.

So I log off and tell myself i'll try in the morning.

My friend, (still a very close friend, and I don't blame him) and I share an account. SO he logs on, sees a cleric with no stuff on, and deletes, thinking it's just a newbie I started, and he wanted to start a bard.

So, even though we fought, we are still good friends, but I tell him to READ THE NAME BEFORE HE DELETES.

Anyways, now my 62 levels, 28 AA's, and good reputation i've earned on that char are gone, and I get to start all over.

I am seriously pissed, and just wanted to get this outta my system.
Grr, very angry, because I miss my cleric

Call SOE. Tell them what happened, and there is a good chance you'll get your toon back.

    What do you mean, Prosia?

And i'm just restarting, same name, same server, different race (because i've always envied dark-elves' coolness)

And the fun of EQ is growing, right? Might as well do my favorite thing about EQ over again. *shrug*

What she means is, if you had contacted EQ with the story of your toon being deleted (minus that you shared the account) they could have rolled your account back to the day you went LD..hence your cleric restored, and all of your gear..

I'm at lvl 12 right now on my new guy, and am having fun.

It's cool knowing what I need to do to be a better cleric later on.

I only wish my 100kish horsie hadn't died with my armor :-P

    Strange tale.

    1) Gear is gone.

    2) A level 62 toon is deleted as a "newbie" toon.

    3) No attempt to recover toon.

I'm going to have to say *BS* on this one.

    ^^^^

Agreed, does it not say "This character is to 'powerful' to be deleted" if it is over level 46 or so? Then you have to go through a lot of clicks to finally delete?

Sounds more like 'friend' stripped/sold the gear, make more money on sacrifies for EEs then deleted the character once it was at level 46 or so.

It may just be that I am jaded, but I am very leary about people that 'share' login information. Regardless of how much a 'good friend' that person appears.

Yeah, it could be my friend did this, but if so, it's just a game. Come on, i'm not gonna forget years of friendship because of one incident.

And I havene't really tried to recover the character, because the experience of EQ is so much more fun then levels. I'd rather start over, then be high and important, and exp grind for hours for that 1000th AA.

Heh, your 'friend' certainly doesn't think much of you...still throwing the *BS* flag on this one. I think there is either more to the story or this is just fiction.
